Age of Wonders II combines empire building, role-playing, and warfare in a turn-based strategy game. Awakened to join the immortal Wizards of the Circle of Evermore, you must restore balance to a world on the brink of collapse.

From your Wizard’s Tower, you can channel powerful spells and choose among 12 races, including Elves, Frostlings, Draconians, Dwarves, Halflings, Humans, and the Undead. The game also features 7 spheres of magic, more than 30 champion heroes, and over 100 artifacts.

Players can research and cast enchantments, combat magic, and world-altering spells. There are over 130 unique units, a single-player campaign with 20 scenarios, and multiplayer for up to 8 players through LAN or the Internet, with Play by Email, Hot Seat, and a simultaneous-turn system.
