Battle vs Chess

Battle vs Chess is a strategy game that fuses chess with combat-oriented mechanics, set on a 3D board in one of six environments with richly animated fantasy pieces and action fights.

Commanders assemble armies in a game that combines chess with combat-oriented mechanics. Animated fantasy figurines appear in magical worlds, and players make skillful moves on a 3D board before entering battle with devastating attacks.

The board is set in one of six environments, each with its own landscape and presentation features. Traditional pieces are reimagined as stone golems and chimaeras, among other richly animated game pieces.

Features include two strategy campaigns with 30 missions and 30 mission goals, interactive third-person action, beat’em up fights in six arenas, and PvP duels over LAN and Internet. It also uses the Fritz! chess algorithm with 10 difficulty levels and an extensive opening library.
