Battlestar Galactica: Scattered Hopes is a survival fleet-management roguelite with procedural narrative design and real-time space battles. You command a fleet of survivors being relentlessly chased by the Cylon Fleet, with each run serving as another attempt to rejoin the Battlestar Galactica.

Fleet management phases give you limited turns to prepare before the next assault. You must dispatch expeditions for resources, allocate supplies and personnel, upgrade ships, and train crew to improve efficiency and survivability.

Your decisions affect the fleet’s overall status, including faction politics, healthcare, and maintenance. These conditions can trigger narrative events and crises such as epidemics, system malfunctions, civil war, or a Cylon infiltrator.

Combat is fought in real time with tactical pause, as you coordinate squadrons and use unit strengths and unique abilities while preparing an FTL jump. The game also includes roguelite progression, with up to four starting fleets and additional units, weapons, and modifiers unlocked through trials.
