Chaos Galaxy 2 is a retro-style grand strategy game set in a galaxy of factions, where you build planets, produce ships and mecha, lead fleets, use diplomacy, and capture enemy planets.

Chaos Galaxy 2 is a retro-style grand strategy game influenced by Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Advance War, Super Robot War, and similar games. The program, art, and design were all completed by one developer.

You can set up many building areas on your planets, including farms, hives, laboratories, orbital shipyards, arm factories, and space fortresses. You can also produce hundreds of ships and mecha, appoint commanders to lead fleets, and capture enemy planets.

The game includes relationships between heroes and hundreds of events, such as civil war, new weapon discoveries, trading lost technology from the wandering ark, and help from mercenaries or flight gangs. There are also a dozen large factions and more local small forces in the galaxy.

Different faction types have different rules and special planetary buildings. These include imperial factions, pirates, mercenaries and assassins, AI factions, businessmen, revolutionary factions, and aliens.
