Cross Tails is a tactical strategy RPG set in a war-ravaged world. For over a decade, the canine Kingdom of Ranverfurt and the feline Republic of Hidiq have been at war, and the story can be played from both sides to uncover the secrets behind the conflict and the influence of a third power.

Combat uses turn-based battles on a 3D quarter view stage, with terrain and character orientation affecting strategy. The game includes a large cast of characters with class changes, skill trees, and faith selection.

There are over 30 classes, including knights and archers. Weapons and armor can be strengthened with runestones, and passive skills learned in the skill tree can be equipped as characters level up.
