Curious Expedition is a roguelike expedition simulation set in the late 19th century. Together with famous personalities, players venture on expeditions to regions never explored before for fame, science and treasure.

The game features procedurally generated worlds and a procedural story, making each run unique. Players plan and equip their trek, manage resources and sanity, and balance survival with carrying treasure home.

It also includes interactions with local tribes and civilizations, temple ruins with traps and curses, and combat against wild animals, mystical creatures and dinosaurs.

The game includes a massive multiplayer mode with worlds up to 10,000 times larger than in the original game, plus free DLC, The Arctic Expanse, which adds new arctic biomes, characters, items and events.
