Overview
WWII turn-based strategy set mainly in central Europe, focused on Czechoslovakia, where players manage soldiers and a base, complete defense missions, and interact with real WWII characters and events.
About the game
Forgotten but Unbroken is a WWII turn-based strategy game inspired by real stories and events. It includes defense missions, historical characters, and “micro” features based on reality, such as special abilities granted by wearables and the absence of magical healing.
The game uses a dual narrative that combines historical events with the personal story of Commander Martin. A newspaper feature presents real WWII events, including the Battle of Kursk and the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich.
Players can meet real characters from WWII for a limited time, manage six soldier classes, and customize traits that affect battle performance. Base management includes healing, training, morale, hospitals, armories, weather, and disease.
Set primarily in central Europe, with a focus on Czechoslovakia, the game also includes diplomacy and politics, where successful missions can improve ally support. Elite enemy units can spread fear and affect aiming and overall performance.
