Grimstar: Crystals are the New Oil!

Real-time strategy game about exploiting a foreign planet efficiently; you command armies, mine crystals or collect alien artifacts, and progress through a single-player campaign on three different planets.

Earth’s resources are depleted, and an energy crisis is imminent. A distant world called Grimstar offers a new natural energy resource, but it is also where the protagonist’s brother died. Company law requires taking his place until the contract is fulfilled, while also uncovering more about his death.

This is a real-time strategy game about exploiting a foreign planet efficiently. It includes a single-player campaign focused on the brother’s death, along with a level-up system that unlocks upgrades, new units, and buildings.

There are three planets to choose from, each unlocked at a higher level and featuring its own vegetation and characteristics. Missions can require mining all crystals or collecting alien artifacts, and some command missions have special objectives.

Hero units can be called again in every mission without using resources. They also level up over time, becoming stronger and gaining new weapons.
