Lords of the Realm: Royal Edition

Strategy game set in 13th-century England, where you manage crops, serfs, castle building and battles as one of five nobles vying for the throne.

The English throne lies empty in 1262 A.D., and you and five lords compete for the crown. Success depends on feudal governing, castle building, castle sieging, and land battles.

Serfs must be kept fed and happy while they are assigned to farming, herding, building, military, and other tasks. You can design castles and build them using actual historical blueprints, then lay siege to neighboring castles and fight tactical land battles.

The game also includes complex management with random events such as drought or flooding, along with challenging real-time battles. The source also mentions the original Lords of the Realm, Lords of the Realm II, and the Lords of the Realm II Siege Pack expansion.
