March of Shrooms

March of Shrooms is a frenetic, cheery crowd brawler where you lead a platoon of shrooms across hand-crafted levels in the Shroomy Isles, uniting shroomkind against a coming storm.

Ninety-nine years ago, mushrooms took to the skies and settled on magical, floating islands, where they built a happy civilization. Every ten years, a giant storm sweeps through the Shroomy Isles and reduces everything to mycelium and berry brushes. As the tenth storm approaches, the tiniest shroom sets out to unite the others and fight back against the weather.

This is a frenetic, cheery crowd brawler about leading shroomkind into unity. Players command 30+ shrooms at once and can choose from over 40 species, each with distinct looks and skills. The shrooms can also be divided into squads with different orders, sizes, and purposes.

Combat takes place across hand-crafted levels with their own personalities and gameplay quirks. Each chapter adds new environments, challenges, buffs, floating upgrades, explosive chains, and berries to collect. Levels can be replayed on higher difficulties to earn rare items, face new encounters, and unlock new upgrades for the village.

The game is designed to be easy to learn but difficult to master, with controls for controllers or mouse and keyboard. Players can also choose a color style for the platoon, from a softer look to a more bubbly one.
