Medieval Lords: Soldier Kings of Europe

A grand-strategy simulation of politics and war set in medieval Europe, North Africa and the Middle East, where you advise rulers and manipulate alliances, nobles, territory, castles and war to build an empire.

Medieval Europe is presented as a time of turbulent politics, ravaging plagues, conquest, and sweeping change. As an advisor to kings, you act as an agent of change and the wisdom behind the crown.

The game places you in a role of influence over rulers such as an emperor, king, emir, sultan, khan, caliph, or duke. It is a simple strategic simulation of politics and war on a grand scale across Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.

There are six historical scenarios. You can manipulate political, economic, and military elements at home and abroad to establish, strengthen, and expand an empire through alliances, subversion, territory grants, castle building, and war.

It also includes random but historically accurate events such as papal declarations of heresy, Crusades, the Black Plague, and Mongol invasions.
