Mesmer is a social survival game about leading a revolution while avoiding the secret police. As Teri De Belle, a returning adventurer branded an enemy of the state, you are pressured into becoming a revolutionary leader.

The King has turned the nation into a police state, with rationing, curfews, and fields of Paciflowers around the capital. Those who dissent can be forced into subservience through “Horsing,” a mind control method that uses spite masks filled with Paciflowers.

Build influence through charm, helpfulness, and social interaction, or use blackmail and threats of violence. Stay out of the night guard’s sight, use rooftops and shadows to avoid being caught, and locate Crowdhorns to rally the public.

There are five social factions vying for power, including the Nobility, Merchants, Artisans, and Workers. If you win enough people over, you can lead a crowd through the city, tear down blockades, and head toward a final confrontation at the Royal castle.
