Night is Coming is a survival strategy game set in a fantasy world inspired by Slavic mythology and the nature of Eastern Europe. The Darkness is devouring the lands, and survivors must hide in the woods while each new day becomes a struggle to stay alive.

You lead a group of settlers by building and developing a settlement, gathering resources, and protecting people from monsters in the dark. Settlers have their own attributes, needs, skills, and strengths, and their morale affects how well they withstand hardship.

Management and strategy shape the fate of the settlement. You assign tasks, provide food, clothing, and shelter, attract new settlers, and teach farming, smithing, and other crafts.

As the settlement grows, you build houses, workshops, barracks, and warehouses, upgrade buildings, train warriors, and use magic to support settlers and fight enemies. You may also explore surrounding lands, send warriors to search for rare materials, and eventually leave developed lands to seek new ones.
