It is 1989, and a new war is breaking out across Europe. Thousands of square miles of German landscape become the setting for large-scale battles between NATO and Warsaw Pact forces.

This real-time tactics game lets you lead a regiment through Cold War conflict with artillery, air support, maneuvering, feigned retreats, and mobile defenses. The Platoon Command system is designed to let you direct battles with precision without micromanaging every infantryman.

You can expand your force during play by calling in unique Task Forces with their own equipment and off-map support options. The game includes a plot-focused campaign, nine operations, three skirmish modes, and over 100 modeled vehicles, including Leopard 2, T-72M, and M2 Bradley Fighting Vehicle.

Available factions include the Soviet Union, USA, East and West Germany, Belgium, and the UK. It also features aggressive AI, on-the-fly force customization, deep mechanics, and refined controls for commanding large numbers of soldiers.
