As your realm expands, you must also deal with diplomacy, treason, and the risk of revolt. Unlucky event cards can change the fate of your realm quickly, and relationships with other lords can lead to battle.

Combat is tactical and turn-based on a grid, with a card-based skill system and counters to troop types, morale, and terrain. The game includes a campaign mode, multiplayer for up to 4 players simultaneously, and special game modes such as Challenge Island and Invasion.
