RuneQuest: Warlords is a battle-scale turn-based strategy game set in Glorantha, where players defend their tribe against Chaos with rune-based abilities, magic, and a diverse army of heroes and creatures.

RuneQuest: Warlords is a battle-scale turn-based strategy game set in the RuneQuest universe.

It is set in Glorantha, between Talastar and Dorastor, west of Dragon Pass on the Genertela continent. The storyline takes place during the year 7/37 (1608) and follows the struggle of the Talastar Tribes against the forces of Chaos.

The campaign centers on Hahlgrim, a tribal champion from Talastar’s Bilings, as he gathers allies including elves and temporary Lunar allies. Across 18 missions, the story includes deeds of valor, heroism, cruelty, and betrayal, and features characters such as Ketil Whiteye, Hakon the Swimmer, Woowander, and Ralzakark.

Battles use a grid-based map where terrain and positioning matter. Units have a Zone of Control, Action Points, and access to Spirit, Rune, and Sorcery magic, while Sentry Mode, Opportunity Attacks, and counter-attacks add further tactical depth.
