Star Fleet Deluxe

Star Fleet Deluxe is a strategic space war simulation where you command a UGA heavy cruiser to defend colonies and outposts against Krellan forces in contested quadrants of space.

Star Fleet Deluxe is a strategic space war game in which the player commands a United Galactic Alliance Invincible class heavy cruiser. The goal is to defend UGA colonies against advancing Krellan forces and drive them out within a given time.

Surviving UGA starbases and outposts on unconquered planets can assist with shelter in orbit, resupplying the cruiser, and providing real-time updates on Krellan movement. Missions are randomly generated, with Krellan battlecruisers, supply ships, and destroyers supporting one another as they attack planets, starbases, and the player’s ship.

It was developed by Trevor Sorensen and published by Interstel Technologies. The project began in 1998, reached completion in 2002, and included an X Version from 1981, an Alpha Version in 1999, and a Beta Version from 2002.
