In the single-player campaign, players choose a hero and shape the fate of their kingdoms across unique scenarios. The story includes magic, heroism, unlikely alliances, and betrayals.

A randomized storm system affects both the global map and the battlefield, with weather patterns shifting each time the game is launched. This adds new challenges to every battle.

Players can ride across the global map to fight enemies and collect resources, then use them to upgrade buildings, recruit forces, and expand their power. Battles take place on a classic hexagonal battlefield with an orthographic camera, where army composition, positioning, and spells matter.
