Strategic Command WWII: War in the Pacific

Strategic Command WWII: War in the Pacific is a World War II strategy game where you command seven major powers in land and sea battles across the Pacific theater, from Pearl Harbor and Southeast Asia to China, using 3-D unit graphics or NATO counters.

Strategic Command WWII: War in the Pacific includes a flagship 1941 Day of Infamy campaign on a 36,000-hex map, covering the war from India and Burma through the Dutch East Indies, Malaya, the Philippines, Guadalcanal, the Kokoda Trail, Iwo Jima, Tarawa and Midway to the west coast of North America. The campaign begins with the surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941 and Japan’s rapid expansion into South East Asia and the Pacific.

Players can command forces of seven major powers, including Japan, Australia, China, the USA, UK and USSR. Battles span land and sea, from Okinawa to Burma, with a choice of 3-D unit graphics or NATO counters.

The game also includes five quick-to-play mini-campaigns, from Khalkhin Gol in 1939 to the invasion of Manchuria in 1945. These cover the Solomons, the Marianas, Iwo Jima and August Storm, alongside six immersive campaigns with varied victory conditions, a scorecard, a turn counter, airfields as a new resource type, Naval Construction, and an editor for creating scenarios.
