Players command enormous armies and experimental war machines in large-scale battles. Three enigmatic commanders represent unique factions, each with a story that adds a more personal element to the real-time strategy experience.

The single-player campaign features three character-driven storylines set 25 years after the events of Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. The factions, the United Earth Federation, the Cybran Nation, and the Illuminate, have been redesigned from the original game.

Experimental units return with new designs and enhanced looks, along with new tricks that can be unlocked through research. Players can also research new technologies and units and deploy them instantly on the battlefield.

The game includes a redesigned Strategic Mode UI that takes up less screen space and provides better player feedback, as well as new rendering technology for visually spectacular environments.
