The Ancients

Strategy game about leading a tribe through prehistoric Earth, foraging, hunting, researching primitive technology, and migrating across shifting continents and harsh biomes.

Explore prehistoric Earth as the continents shift and the last ice age approaches. Lead your tribe through a harsh world filled with fierce predators, changing seasons, cold winters, drought, and the need to find food and resources.

Hunt wild creatures, migrate across hexagon map tiles, and use tactical battles against multiple clans. Tooltips provide information about prehistoric animals native to each region.

Advance your tribe with tools, weapons, shelter, and primitive technology. Research new tools, shape language and beliefs, and build a culture that can include different social structures. Migrate to new regions and try to survive in different biomes.
