Vertical Kingdom

Vertical Kingdom is a roguelite city-building game where you rebuild an empire with a card-based system, managing resources and permanent building choices in a war-torn world.

Vertical Kingdom is set in a world devastated by a war that lasted for an entire generation. The once great Empire is in shambles, and it is up to the Great Architect to rebuild it brick by brick.

Travel the land on randomized, roguelite-style expeditions and raise new cities with a card-based building system. Each turn, pick five decks and play cards to build upwards.

Manage food, water, bricks, wood, stone, and metal to keep the city growing and make room for new cards. All buildings are permanent, so every decision matters.

Rebuild the Empire one building and one region at a time, while dealing with treacherous terrain, resource shortages, limited building space, and the challenges among the ruins.
