WARNO is a Cold War real-time strategy game set in divided Germany in 1989, where you command customized battlegroups of NATO or Warsaw Pact units in solo and online battles and turn-based Army General campaigns.

Set in a Cold War that has turned hot in 1989, the game places NATO and Warsaw Pact forces in divided Germany. It is described as an authentic, expansive, and meticulously researched real-time strategy game and a spiritual successor to the Wargame series.

You command customized battlegroups with hundreds of Cold War-era units across solo and online modes, including massive 10v10 battles. The armies of six nations are represented, with more than 1000 different military units available.

It also features five turn-based Army General campaigns centered on NATO’s CENTAG and the Warsaw Pact’s Central Group of Forces, near the Fulda Gap. Units and formations can be managed down to the platoon level.
