The lovely but seemingly inept Major Kelly needs your help again; this time, she lost a whole dropship! Sheesh!! And her with her snotty 'tude...

You run into a lot of ground turrets in this mission, so bring along an LRM or PPC turret-killer. You'll also collect a lot of nice mechs 😊

When you hit dirt, move South to the shoreline, then East behind the ridge until you pick up a sensor contact on the other side from a small patrol - a Catapult, two Hollanders and two Anubii. Use the cliff to your advantage in keeping the Hollanders from getting a good line-of-sight; they'll have to get close, negating their long reach advantage.

Once you have finished this light snack, keep moving East in the shadow of the shore cliffs until you reach the south bay curve. Explore east a bit and you'll run into several Perimiter Alarm Towers protected by AC Grassland Camo Turrets. You have to get close to make the turrets pop up, so try to use a mech capable of taking out a turret in one volley (Clan LRMs work well here).

Dang gophers... ruined this nice green...

Just south of PriOb#3 is a small patrol hidden in a dip in the land near some tents - an Anubis and several Swarm LRMs. Again the terrain is in your favor with its' ridges and folds. This is a good place to set up to take the Orbital Gun installation there. Three Resource Trucks and a Repair Bay make this a very desireable target. It's also a challenge, with a Zeus, a Starslayer, a pair of Hollanders, and three sneaky Men Shen on guard, as well as a couple of Vedettes. Sometimes the second Zeus is here also, but he usually runs up the hill to the north to reinforce the LRM guard on the Perimeter Alarm there.

A rich harvest sits in this town

This northern hill can be approached by swinging in back of the 'Bay and using the rising ridge there to come over the top. Be wary of the AC Grassland Camo turrets there though. Once you control this entire area, move North until you are at the lowest end of Upper Lake.

The first thing you'll pick up will probably be the small patrols that run the lake - several Harassers cruising the shallows of the lake. Hopefully, you'll also notice the Shadow Cat with them. Are they any trouble? No. Smurf them to clear your field. Then take a position across the water from Prison Island.

Rooster's doin' time on Mecha Island

Hmmm, a prison guarded by 4 Harassers? Don't bet on it. When you approach, you'll awaken two captured Davion mechs - a Mad Cat and a Vulture. Try to handle them delicately; they make a great addition to your team, so use your Sharpshooters and go for headshots. Then head south and east, over the land bridge that separates the lakes. Grab the three Resource Trucks in the lower city; you might as well continue east a little and grab the Resource Building there also. Just watch out for the Attack Choppers, Hollanders and Zeus roaming the ridge top to the East. Get rid of them so they don't distract you.

DO NOT APPROACH THE DAVION DROPSHIP YET. Pussyfoot around the hills instead. Arrange your team in a half-moon, facing the shallow inlet to the south of the dropship. Notice that light blue line in the water? When you approach the dropship, 3 Hunchbacks and two Sha Yu hiding beneath the water will power up and leap at your team. With those captured Mad Cats, Zeusii and Vulture on your side, this should be fun.

Nice day for a skeet shoot, Throckmorton... pull!

Now head East and North and find the second MOG and its' escort of two Starslayers and several LRM carriers. Boom. Keep heading North to the last Orbital Gun. You'll see two Highlanders on guard; you'll also hear the "ping-ping-ping" that means Powered Armor buggers. When you assault the position, you'll stir up some Drillsons and other ground craft also. Are you worried? Only about preserving those beautiful Highlanders for salvage, with the help of the four Resource Trucks sitting there.

So go get 'em. Then march your team smartly back to the dropship and your Extract Zone, laughing all the way over your new bank balance.

This is one packed Dropship
